ReferralYogi Technologies Private Limited  (“ReferralYogi”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy applies to those who visit www.referralyogi.com as well as users of customer advocacy platform, tools and services which is owned and operated by ReferralYogi. (“We”, “Us” or “Our”). This privacy policy describes how ReferralYogi collects, uses, and shares the personal information you provide to us. It also describes the choices available to you regarding the use of, your access to, and how to update and correct your personal information. The use of information collected through our products and services shall be limited to the purpose of providing the products and services for which our customer has contracted with ReferralYogi.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to any third party websites, products, services or applications, even if they are accessible through our Products.

When you use any of our Products, you consent to the collection, use and sharing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. Irrespective of which country you reside in or supply information from, you authorize us to use your information in any country where we operate.

We may revise this Privacy Policy at any time and in our sole discretion. The most current version of this Privacy Policy will govern our use of your information and will always be posted on our website. If the revision, in our sole discretion, is material, we will send you a notification or post a notice on our website. By continuing to access or use the Products after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised Privacy Policy. If we make any changes, we will change the “Last Updated” date above.

As used in this Privacy Policy, “Personal Information” refers to information about you that can be used to identify you, such as your name, phone number, email address and physical address.

Information That We May Collect

Information from You. You may provide us with your Personal Information and your other information including that of your customers and prospects, through your use of the Products, including when you register an account with us or sign up to receive announcements or other information from us. We also may collect financial and payment information from you when you make purchases.

Information We Obtain From Others. We may obtain information about you, your customers, and prospects from other sources. We may add this information to the information we obtain through the Products and make it available for your use.

Information Automatically Collected. We automatically log information about you and your computer. For example, when visiting our site, we log your computer operating system type, browser type, browser language, the website you visited before browsing to our site, pages you viewed, how long you spent on a page, access times and information about your use of and actions on our site.

Cookies. We may log information using “cookies.” Cookies are small data files stored on your hard drive by a website. We may use both session cookies (which expire once you close your web browser) and persistent cookies (which stay on your computer until you delete them) to provide you with a more personal and interactive experience when using the Products. This type of information is collected to make the Products more useful to you and to tailor the experience with us to meet your interests and needs.

How We May Use Your Personal Information

We may use your Personal Information to operate, maintain, and improve the Products; to process and deliver contest entries and rewards; to respond to comments and questions and provide customer service; to send information including confirmations, invoices, technical notices, updates, security alerts and support and administrative messages; to communicate about promotions, upcoming events and other news about products and services offered by us and our selected partners; to link or combine user information with other personal information; to protect, investigate, and deter against fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal activity; or to provide the Products that you request.

Google Workspace User Data and ReferralYogi AI Agent

ReferralYogi AI Agent allows users to connect their own Google account so that they can request actions involving Gmail, Google Calendar, Google Drive and Google Sheets. ReferralYogi accesses Google user data only after the user authorizes the relevant Google permissions.

Google user data we may access

Depending on the permissions granted by the user and the action requested, ReferralYogi may access Gmail messages and related message or label information; Google Calendar events and event details; Google Drive file names, metadata and supported file operations; and Google Sheets spreadsheet metadata, sheet or tab information, cell values, rows and other spreadsheet content.

How we use Google user data

We use Google user data only to provide user-facing functionality requested by the user. Examples include finding or summarizing email, composing or sending messages, reviewing or managing calendar events, locating spreadsheets, reading spreadsheet data, and creating or updating spreadsheets, tabs, rows or cells.

We may also use the minimum information necessary to maintain the user's authenticated connection, provide support, protect the service from abuse, and comply with applicable law.

How Google user data is processed and shared

Google user data may be processed by ReferralYogi and by service providers acting on our behalf only where necessary to provide the user-requested feature, operate and secure the service, or comply with applicable law. For AI-assisted requests, relevant information may be processed by contracted AI or infrastructure service providers solely to process the user's request and return the requested result.

We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising, retargeting, or unrelated profiling.

Storage and retention

ReferralYogi securely stores authorization credentials, such as OAuth access and refresh tokens, where necessary to maintain a user's connected Google account.

Google user data may be processed or retained only to the extent necessary to provide requested product functionality, maintain user-requested application records or conversation history, protect the service, meet legal obligations, or provide support. We limit retention to what is reasonably necessary for these purposes and apply the security and deletion practices described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy.

Google API Services User Data Policy and Limited Use

ReferralYogi's use and transfer of information received from Google Workspace APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not use Google Workspace user data to create, train, or improve generalized machine-learning or artificial-intelligence models. We do not permit employees, contractors, or other persons to access Google user data except where permitted by Google's Limited Use requirements, such as with the user's explicit consent, for security purposes, or where required by law.

User control

Users may disconnect their Google account or revoke ReferralYogi's access through their Google Account permissions. Users may also contact us at privacy@referralyogi.com regarding access, correction or deletion requests.

To the extent that any other provision of this Privacy Policy conflicts with the Google-specific commitments in this section, this section governs our handling of information received from Google Workspace APIs.

Information We May Share With Third Parties

We will not share any Personal Information that we have collected from you except as described below:

Information Shared with Your Consent. We may share or disclose your information at your direction.

Information Shared with Our Service Providers. We may engage third party service providers to work with us to perform certain services in connection with our providing the Products to you. These third party service providers may have access to your Personal Information based on our instructions and in compliance with this Privacy Policy only for the purpose of performing services on our behalf, and are expressly obligated not to disclose or use your Personal Information for any other purpose.

Information Shared with Third Parties. We may share or disclose your non-private, aggregated or otherwise non-personal information with third parties.

Information Disclosed in Connection with Business Transactions. Information that we collect from our users, including Personal Information, is considered to be a business asset. As a result, if we are acquired as a result of a transaction such as a merger, acquisition or asset sale or if we go out of business or enter bankruptcy, your Personal Information may be disclosed or transferred to the third party acquirer in connection with the transaction.

Information Disclosed for Our Protection and the Protection of Others. We may share or disclose your Personal Information for legal, protection and safety purposes, including to comply with laws; to respond to lawful requests and legal processes; and to protect the rights and property of our company, agents, customers and others, which includes enforcing our agreements, policies, and terms of service. We may share information in an emergency, which includes protecting the safety of our employees, our customers, or any other person.

Choices and Changes

Our marketing emails tell you how to “opt-out.” If you opt out, we may still send you non-marketing emails. Non-marketing emails include emails about your accounts and our business dealings with you. You may send requests about your Personal Information to our contact information below. You can request to change contact choices, opt-out of certain information sharing with others, and update your Personal Information. You can typically remove and reject cookies from our site with your browser settings. Many browsers are set to accept cookies until you change your settings. If you remove or reject our cookies, it could affect how our site works for you.

Security of Your Information

We implement reasonable security measures to protect the Personal Information that you provide to us from unauthorized access, disclosure or use. Please be aware, however, that these security measures do not guarantee that your information will not be accessed, compromised, corrupted, disclosed or destroyed by breach of the Products. Accordingly, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of any information. By using the Products, you acknowledge that you understand and agree to assume these risks.

We may use (but not disclose) data collected regarding your use of our Services for our internal business purposes, including for creating anonymized, aggregated and otherwise non-personal data. We may freely use and make available such anonymized, aggregated and otherwise non-personal data regarding the use of our Services for our business purposes. We will ensure that this anonymized, aggregated and otherwise non-personal data cannot identify you or your customers and can in no way be specifically associated to you or any of your customers.

Modifying Your Information

If you would like to modify information you have submitted, please contact us at privacy@referralyogi.com . Just describe the modification that you need. We will verify with you that your request was met or handled in an appropriate manner. If you request to delete your information, please note that some information may remain in archived or backup copies for our records or as otherwise required by law.

International Transfer

Your Personal Information may be transferred to, maintained on, and processed through, computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction, and you consent to such transfer, maintenance and processing.

Our Policy Toward Children

Our Products are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you become aware that your child has provided us with Personal Information without your consent, please contact us at privacy@referralyogi.com . If we learn that we have collected Personal Information of a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information from our records and terminate the child’s account as soon as possible.
